OK so we don't have the palm trees . . . but we do have the wind! It helps to keep the midges away.
Inver Caravan Park is a small, friendly STB**** Touring Park, which is listed with the Camping and Caravan Club, and is open all year. It is adjacent to the A9 just north of Dunbeath, Caithness, Scotland.
We welcome all caravans and trailer tents, motorhomes of any size (even ones you have made yourself), tents, cars, vans, motorbikes, walkers and cyclists, children and dogs - in fact everyone!
You can now book a pitch on Inver Caravan Park online directly from this website! (new possibility in 2018) by using the link below. Please note that we prefer to have motorhomes and campervans on hard standings, which have the same price as grass pitches. If you don't need electric, you won't have to pay for it even if the hard standing is supplied with an electric hook-up.
Please also note that groups of unaccompanied walkers and cyclists, and also bikers, with small tents, can share one of our pitches easily (they are 80 - 100m2) so please don't book more than you need. Bikers will pay for only the pitches they use, and walkers and cyclists only pay for themselves, not for the pitch.
We also have a beautiful new-to-us Holiday Caravan (2) 'Scaraben View' which sleeps up to 8 persons and is fully equipped. All you need to bring is your food! You can book this online from the 'holiday caravan' section of this website, where there is more about it, including its name 'Scaraben View'
We also have a second comfortable Holiday Caravan (1)which sleeps up to 4 persons and is fully equipped. All you need to bring is your food. This holiday caravan, called 'Castle View' can also now be booked online from the 'holiday caravan' section of the website.
We also have 3 large, comfortable bedrooms for B&B, all en-suite, all with TV (Freeview), so if you need some pampering instead of a chilly tent, it's easy to arrange. We are delighted to have been awarded a 4* Bed and Breakfast grading by VisitScotland, and a Category 1 'Unassisted Wheelchair Use' accessibility award.
